Who we are
NextGen Flying Academy operates flight training at Riverside Municipal Airport (KRAL) and Redlands Municipal Airport (KREI), in California. NextGen Flying Academy is the current brand of the school previously known as NextGen Flight Academy and FlyHere.aero; the operation, instructors, fleet, and FAA approvals are continuous through the brand refresh. References below to "NextGen Flying Academy," "we," "us," and "our" mean the operating entity behind these training programs.
This Privacy Policy applies to nextgenflyingacademy.com and any
sub-paths we operate (including /ready-to-fly/, /contact/, and
program landing pages).
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you submit our website forms, call or text our school phones, or email us. That includes:
- Name, email address, and phone number.
- Address or general location (for example, "Inland Empire" or your home airport).
- Information you share in our pilot readiness quiz, including experience level, training goals, schedule, medical fitness self-assessment, and financial planning notes.
- Anything you write into free-text message or notes fields.
We also collect a limited amount of technical information automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages requested, time spent, referring URL, and similar log data. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the site.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to inquiries about discovery flights, training programs, and scheduling.
- Send you the next-step information you asked for, by email, text, or phone.
- Match you with the right CFI, location (Riverside or Redlands), and training path.
- Operate and improve our website and training program offerings.
- Comply with our legal obligations and to protect our students, staff, and aircraft.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it for third-party marketing.
Phone calls, SMS, and email communications
When you submit our website forms with a phone number and check the consent box, you consent to receive phone calls, text messages (SMS), and emails from NextGen Flying Academy about flight training, your inquiry, and related school operations. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies, generally one to four messages per week during active inquiry windows.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can get help by replying HELP. You can opt out of emails by clicking the unsubscribe link on any email we send or by emailing info@nextgenflyingacademy.com.
Our SMS program is operated in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the wireless carriers' Application-to-Person (A2P) 10DLC requirements. We do not share or sell mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent is collected separately from any other consent and is not a condition of purchase.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for the site to function and to understand how it is used. These include:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which the site needs to function (form state, security, load balancing). You cannot disable these without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies, which help us understand which pages are useful and where users get stuck. Analytics is configured to respect Do Not Track signals where supported.
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so may disable parts of the site.
Third-party services we use
We use the following third-party services to operate the site and our intake process:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the website and provides edge security and performance. Cloudflare may log IP addresses and request metadata as part of operating the network.
- Pipedrive is our customer relationship management (CRM) system. When you submit a form, the contents are written to a Pipedrive contact record so our team can follow up.
- Resend (when configured) delivers transactional email to our intake inbox.
- Stripe (planned, not yet active) will handle payment processing for scheduled deposits and gift certificates if and when we enable online payment. Stripe's own privacy policy will govern any payment data it processes.
Each of these vendors has its own privacy practices. We have selected vendors that take privacy and security seriously and that are common across the U.S. small-business web. We do not sell or share your information with them for any purpose other than running our own operations.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we have a reasonable need to use it and for as long as required by applicable law and tax recordkeeping rules. Typically that means active CRM records are retained while you are an inquiry or student, and inactive records are archived or deleted on a periodic basis.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@nextgenflyingacademy.com from the email address we have on file, or call your home campus and ask for the operations lead. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and within 45 days where California law applies.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information we have collected, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing info@nextgenflyingacademy.com.
Children's privacy
FAA pilot certification has age minimums. You must be at least 16 to solo a single-engine airplane and at least 17 to hold a Private Pilot Certificate. Students under 18 typically train with parental involvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through one of our forms, email info@nextgenflyingacademy.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We will notify affected users and the appropriate regulators in the event of a breach where notification is required by law.

Our site may link to third-party sites such as the FAA, AOPA, financing partners, or our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before sharing personal information.
